Dr Deepak Chopra is the co-creator of the Chopra Centre in Carlsbad, California, and has lots of great information on his website. His book, Perfect Health was my entry book into Ayurveda, and is a really good foundational book for anyone newly interested in alternative approaches to healing.
Dr Vasant Lad is the Director of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the Vasant Institute of Ayurveda
in Pune, India. He teaches accreditation programs, lectures worldwide, and has a vast amount of information on his website. One of my favourite of his books, Ayurveda: The Science of Self Healing, is very helpful for anyone interested in learning more about Ayurveda.
